This web site is all about the Ford Cortina, a classic car manufactured between 1962 and 1982 , when it was replaced by the Ford Sierra.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are not many of these cars left on the roads now as many rusted badly.  When you do see one, you will notice lots of people looking at it, and quite often  saying either “I had one of them ” or “My Dad\/Grandad\/Uncle had one of them”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My web site started out as a project for an Adult Education course I attended at the sadly “long gone” Associate House Adult Education Centre In Ashford, Kent.

I decided to carry on with the web site once the course ended. I have recently started to revamp it and re-create it using “Word Press”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people ask if I have a Cortina ?<\/strong> well, sort of………………………..<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, this is the only one I have although it is a limited edition and in excellent condition ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a typical \u2018Eurocar\u2019 as my daily drive, however, I did have until last summer, a 1997 MGF and yes, the head gasket did fail many years a few ago. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With prices of good Cortina’s rising steadily, it may be some time before I can get one. When\/If I do, it will be a Mark 3 , having owned 4 in my formative years, I feel naturally drawn to another.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
